White spot on the nail

This type of nail disorder is very rare. This disorder is a combination of lymph bronchiectasis (a chronic disease of bronchial dilation in the lungs with bad breath) and pneumonia or pleurisy. The symptoms of this disease are swelling of the lymph nodes in different parts of the body, especially in the hands and feet. 50% of this disease is difficult to treat. This disease occurs more often in toenails than in fingernails and causes the nail plate to separate from the nail blade (the nail blade is the white part of the nail that grows outward). Both the nail and the skin under the nail can be affected by this disease and it can turn that part of the skin yellow, black, white and green. This disease is often associated with diabetes and respiratory disorders. Yellow nail syndrome is more likely to occur in middle age, but under hereditary factors, it can also put young people at risk of this disease.
